This course teaches American Safety & Health Institute/Medic First Aid CPR for adults, children (ages 1-12) and infants (under age 1) as well as Basic First Aid. Students will learn how to recognize and respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. Basic First Aid will teach students how to respond to other emergencies caused by injury or sudden illness.
To earn CPR certification, students must pass a written test as well as pass the skills portion of the training. To earn Basic First Aid, students must pass a written test as well as pass the skills portion of the training. Basic First Aid will teach students how to respond to other emergencies caused by injury or sudden illness.

CPR Professional Rescuer & AED (BLS Healthcare Provider)
This course teaches American Safety & Health Institute/Medic First Aid Professional Rescuer CPR and AED for Adult/Infant/Child CPR/AED. Professional responders (those with a duty to respond) will learn how to respond to respiratory and cardiac emergencies. Students will learn rescue breathing, CPR / two-rescuer CPR, first aid for choking, use of a resuscitation mask and bag-valve mask resuscitator, disease transmission prevention and the systems of the body. And, students will learn when and how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator).
To earn CPR and AED certification, students must pass the written test and skill session.
CPR and AED certification are each valid for 2 year.

Basic First Aid
For coaches working in school districts, Basic First Aid is a requirement.*
